Donegal County Council has approved a draft Scheme for the Establishment & Operation of Strategic Policy Committees (SPC's) in Donegal County Council for the period 2014 to 2019 to go to public consultation.
The draft scheme provides for the establishment of five SPC's in the following areas:
SPC 1 - Economic, Enterprise & Planning Policy
SPC 2 - Roads & Transportation
SPC 3 - Housing & Corporate
SPC 4 - Community, Social & Culture
SPC 5 - Environment & Emergency Services
Membership of the the SPC's will be made up of Elected Members and representatives of the various stakeholders and sectores active in the County.
Members of the public generally, members of community & voluntary organisations and representatives of the various stakeholders sectors are now invited to make a submission to Donegal County Council in relation ot the draft scheme.
